As per the Government notification, Nagpur has been declared as "Dry Port" for Import & Export of Exciseable goods.

Assesses of Nagpur and nearby areas are now not required to go to "Mumbai" or any other port for export or import of goods.

Inland Container Depot (ICD) and Container Freight Station(CFS) have been started at Nagpur to facilitate import / export of goods. The custodian of goods at ICD are M/s. CONCOR CONTAINER CORPORATION OF INDIA. and at CFS it M/s. Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation (M.S.W.C).
