Subject :- Central Excise- Regional Advisory Committee for Small Scale Sector, Central Excise Commissionerate, Nagpur – Constitution of Committee for block year 2002-2003 – reg.
The trade and all other concerned are hereby informed that Regional Advisory Committee for Small Scale Sector for the Block Year 2002 - 2003 for the Central Excise Commissionerate, Nagpur has been constituted. A list of members of this committee alongwith the trade interest they represent, is enclosed
The Commissioner, Customs & Central Excise, Nagpur will be the ex-officio chairman of the Committee. Shri Prafull Doshi, M/s. Raju Steel Industries, Nagpur will be Vice Chairman of R.A.C. for Small Scale Sector. The Assistant Commissioner (Tech) of the Central Excise Commissionerate, Nagpur will function as the Secretary of the Committee.
No person other the nominated members can attend the meeting. Any member, who will be absent from three consecutive meetings without adequate reasons will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Committee and his place will be filled up by a fresh nomination. In case it is not possible for the nominated member to personally attend the meeting due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, another representative of the organisation may attend with the permission of the Chairman.
The functions of the committee are purely advisory in nature relating to resolving the procedural or other difficulties and problems of a general nature so as to enable the administration to take steps to solve them.
The Committee will ordinarily meet once in a quarter at such place, as the Chairman may decide.
Members of the Committee shall be entitled to traveling expenses admissible under the Orders of Government of India, Ministry of Finance in force.
All Trade Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Members of Regional Advisory Committee are requested to bring the above contents to the knowledge of their member constituent in general and manufacturers in particular.
